Description

End grain cutting boards are the best possible cutting surface for your knives. With an end grain cutting board, a knife will slice between each wood fiber instead of cutting through them with each pass like on an edge grain board. End grain boards will not show the wear as easily as an edge grain board, and will prevent the need to sharpen your knives as often.

This end grain cutting board is made of Maple, Walnut, Cherry, and Purple Heart wood. These boards are built for serious heavy duty prep and are very durable, this is the perfect size for an average family meal. Each one of our boards are reversible, meaning both sides are made and meant for cutting on. Finger Grooves integrated on each side make lifting, moving and cleaning of these large boards easy for all users. This board approximately measures 17” x 13”, is 2” thick and weighs around 10 pounds.

Photos for end grain boards are for style reference and will not exactly match the piece you will receive. These custom boards are made to order and may take up to 1-2 weeks to ship.

All of our boards are handmade with locally sourced domestic and exotic hardwoods and are 100% food grade safe, no dye or stain. Our boards are finished with multiple coats of food grade safe mineral oil, which will protect the grain as well as bring out the woods natural beauty. Before shipping one last coat of our wood conditioner is applied to ensure it is ready for instant use the moment you open your box. Our boards are shipped with care instructions, if properly cared for each of our boards can last generations. Our blend of mineral oil and beeswax used to treat all of our boards is also available in our store.

We are extremely proud with each board that is created in our shop and know you will love yours just as much as we do. If you are not happy with our custom cutting board we will accept returns within 5 days of receiving the item. We will not accept returns if the board has been used.
